January Transfer Window 2026

Think Angus Kinnear said in an interview a few weeks back that it was going to be a quiet Jan window, so don't hold your breaths. Can't find the link sorry, but I doubt much will happen.
I think there might be an exception if we're significantly deficient in certain areas of the squad especially with Branthwaite recently undergoing surgery. It might be an uneventful Jan window but at the same time it wouldn't really benefit us if announced our intent to make ample acquisitions in the window, id assume if we aimed to obtain a player we'd keep our intent mum externally.

had someone at a party last night saying we should be looking at Mason Greenwood as a striking option in January

I said I wouldn’t want us to sign a person like that but he seemed to think things had moved on and he thought most fans wouldn’t care anymore.

Thoughts?
Whatever ever happened to rehabilitation in human society? Judging someone on their previous sins rather than judging them on their current behaviour? It's strange how as a society that's meant to forgive we still hold people to their past misdemeanours. Mason Greenwood on ability should be second to Harry Kane in the England striker pecking order

Go listen to the recordings and come back to say that.

Rehabilitation, growth, absolutely. But that's for their private life and is an extremely slow and lengthy process for something this vile.

Immediately placing someone like Greenwood as a talisman of a community institution? Beyond the pale.

Twisting my words with your last sentence. The point I'm making is if someone isn't in jail then they should be allowed to earn a living doing what they are qualified to do. Otherwise why bother allowing them out of jail?
