January Transfer Window 2026

Who do you suggest?

Options all depend and lots of factors - money being the big one but my options would be:

Franculino Dju - Big Big Talent but costly. I thought this would be the type of signing we would have went for instead of Barry

From what I have seen mainly in Europa League games but he ticks the box for what a No 9 is.

Problem is youth and price - we have signed Barry of similar age and he hasn't settled fast and he is wanted everywhere so they will demand a BIG fee.

I would also look at Nicholas Jackson who is just bench warming at Bayern but will he want to move to a club like us when he will potentially win a Treble maybe more.

A bit of a dark horse would be Zan Vipotnik at Swansea. Not a very exciting signing but he is interesting after starting well for Swansea and nearly beating his goal tally from last season.

He has one to watch.

Also Troy Parrott - Az Alkmaar

Ex Spurs Striker who is going well in Holland and in Europe too.

Young player with plenty of experience and game time

Franculino - Looks far too good for that league. We need to take chances and leverage risk with reward, I'd be keen to go for him.

Jackson - His highlights video would look the opposite of Franculino's. Lots of poor touches and blasting wide in front of goal. £70mil Chelsea want for him and the guy cant finish his dinner.

I know they are struggling clubs in general. Be it the Bakwa, MacAtee, Savona, Hermansen, Elliott, (Wirtz for now), Sancho, Todibo, Zinchenko, Gannon-Doak, Chuekweze, Frimpong, etc so many that arent delivering now. Would argue over half of all EPL signings are not delivering now.
