He’s been injured, I think there’s a good striker there. By all accounts he was impressed with Everton, but Chelsea and playing in Europe his old City Academy boss in charge was always going to be a bigger pull.

Moyes comments today regarding being content with Jake at right back seem to reinforce my theory , that even though we were open to bolstering our options with Tete on a free it wasn't that big of a priority for Moyes.
