Deffo but if Mateta is throwing a strop and absolutely has to be sold then they're probably in a bit of a corner.

50m for JSL is huge but given their starting - and decent - striker is suddenly throwing them right up poop creek without a paddle, coming out the other side with a younger and probably about as good prem striker at a ~10m loss is not the worst outcome

On Grealish he's probably right, maybe not Villa but unless City would accept the amount he owes them under PSR which one poster stated was around 16 million,I doubt our owners would pay around the 50 City allegedly want as Grealish's age doesn't fit what appears to be our present transfer profile.

Mate if this happens you pass Big Al and Fabrizio as ITK lol However I can't see this happening. Clearly we did try with a striker (El Nessiry/Beto maybe Johnson or the lad from Rome but he is injured) but clearly did not want to pay big fees for Mateta / S Larsen. Also we were linked with many right backs so guessing we tried for a few.With only Grealish.out long term we dont need numbers, but better quality.
So the stories about waiting till the summer are true: Patterson, Coleman, Myko, Beto, McNeill, Grealish all with unclear futures so clearly RB, LB, striker and wide positions will be the focus areas
