I'd disagree. He had a long term injury and then I think some smaller ones coming back from that. He may end up being excellent but we really don't need to be taking chances on players with a chequered injury record. Fitness history would be one of the first things we should be looking at

Doesn't Saudi Arabia play different times of the year than turkey or the EPL? So it would be allowed as that's what happened with Charly playing in Brazil despite having some games for jeventus

It's nothing more complicated than brinksmanship.

Sellers and buyers both want the best deal for themselves, and negotiations can drag on until the hard cut-off of the deadline.

Any deal that's tough to get done - and the best transfers tend to be the hardest deals to do for obvious reasons - is going to drag on.

Dreadful for fans out of the information loop, but that's how it is.
