January Transfer Window 2026

Isn't tackling Tim's key strength? I thought it was anyway...
According to AI: Tim Iroegbunam is a versatile, physically imposing midfielder who operates as a box-to-box number eight or a defensive number six. Known for a calm, somewhat nonchalant demeanor under pressure, he excels at breaking lines with powerful dribbling, possessing a high-quality first touch, and displaying strong ball-winning ability. Sounds great here but if we aspire to be a Top 6 side he is not good enough, just my opinion.

Top six sides are built not just on having quality starting players but from a solid squad in place and I think he could feature in that role if those ambitions become more tangible but ultimately I'd like us to look for a defensive midfielder who can play as a deep lying anchor

He's relatively young so can improve and we could very well be in the top six with him in the squad if we'd turned up against Wolves Leeds and West Ham.

Thats AI for you, no chance could you play Tim as a no6

I seem to be in the minority who would sell him. He's just a back up, and not sure he is a real defensive midfielder as he can't tackle.
Did I just log on to GOT to read someone saying Tim Actual Iroegbunam can't tackle

We need to get a better commentary team on our live streams because they are clearly completely failing the blind and visually impaired community amongst our fanbase
