January Transfer Window 2026

2nd team would probably struggle in it, we need players in and also don’t need the distraction of the conference league. In my opinion it’s a nothing competition and can’t see myself getting excited over it. Commercially could be good for us but for me would be like playing in the EFL Trophy.
Bet you would if we get to the last few rounds.

Maybe Nwaneri and Arsenal thought Marseille a club challenging for the Ligue 1 title and in European competitions was better for his development? Just a thought...

So you think a team in a weaker league would be preferable to a team in the same league you play in?

Only reason they'd send him there over a prem team is either they had some sort of option to buy or no one in this league wanted him to begin with.

Any English side in the Conference league should be winning it. And it’s a route into the Europa, which is a route into the Champions league.

If we get into Europe let’s sign more players. Simple as that.
Would you rely on them signing more players needed a right back since jonjoe Kenny ffs 😂

We haven't been in Europe enough to be choosy. Or won anything for 30 years.
True but we simply don’t have the squad for Europe just about put a side out now. McNeil, no right back 2 Donkeys upfront called Armstrong back off loan which is good but needed him, Mykolenko, Keane despite a decent season, £40m dibling in the bench if we can’t be choosy surely we can’t afford £40m players on the bench every week.

Arteta said they were sending him to Marseille because of De Zerbi's track record with young players..
