Player Valuation: £25m
That was a really naff press conference on the transfer news front.
Well they've turned down 33 million for him so I'm not sure how much you think his true valuation is but to me 33 million is about right so Wolves want more than he's worthI may be mental but I'd absolutely be enquiring about Strand Larsen still. Great opportunity to pick up a player for less than he should really cost
Didn’t ask anything apart from will the Grealish injury mean you'll need to buy to replace him. No asking about other positions apart from the rumoured Beto bidThat was a really naff press conference on the transfer news front.
It depends whether there are people they really want or not I suppose. I'd rather we wait til the summer and sign a player who they've identified as the one they want and the best they can get than sign someone now who's 5 or 6 players further down the list but available. There are times when it's worth doing that because of the situation you're in, but I just don't really think this is one of them. Some people are like kids in a shop, they just desperately want us to sign anyone just for the sake of it, but for me in the position we're in now I'm quite content for them to keep their powder dry til the summer (with the obvious caveat that we then do good business at that point). We still don't seem in any kind of hurry to do anything about a RB, very strange imo.
Decent shout this, he's not fitted in at Juve but neither did Thierry Henry and he ended up doing okay didn't heToo much to hope that we're in for Jonathan David now that Juve have brought in En Nesyri?
Rumoured to be available for 30 million after a disappointing start in Serie A
Couldn't agree more Lanolin, let's do smart business for a changeIt depends whether there are people they really want or not I suppose. Hope this isn't trueSeen some article linking Digne with a return
He's more defensive minded nowadays so not the Digne of yesteryearI'd be down with that, far better quality going forward than Myko
It would depend on the price, instant improvement over #16, we really should be looking to sell him also if we're a serious club.Hope this isn't true
Put in a better cross against us than i've seen Myko put in the last 2 years, can't be that badHe's more defensive minded nowadays so not the Digne of yesteryear
Problem is Digne will need to be replaced within a year so we're back to having to offload unwanted players before buying the ideal player again. Too short term thinking and he's not the same player anymore so not as big an upgrade on Mykolenko as you may thinkIt would depend on the price, instant improvement over #16, we really should be looking to sell him also if we're a serious club.
