Did I advocate for wingbacks? I said I reckon Aznou could play as a wingback.
I also said we would need to sort the right side but would trust Patterson more as a wingback due to less defensive duties for him. I trust neither of them as full backs.

Wilson was on a relatively small weekly wage but a massive £50k+ per appearance and other large bonuses for goals/assists. When West Ham were sniffing around and got 2 new strikers in, Wilson knew he wouldn’t be getting the big wedge so he wanted out, mutual agreement to pay him off I believe.
