Unless a loan means we can sell Beto over the odds while people are desperate in Jan., reinvest the cash in a right back and buy a proper striker in the summer.

How about Jhon Durán who was banging in goals for Aston Villa as a sub , he plays in Turkey now, only 22

Best I can say is that if we sell Beto for equal or more than what we spend to bring this guy in it would represent a slight improvement to the squad without impacting us financially.

Hard to get excited about though. Not sure he displaces Barry, and obviously much more pressing issues to be addressed.

He's a massive upgrade on Barry. He scored over 50 goals for Seville in La Liga, scores in European games and internationals. He walks into our first team.

Loan him in, if only to stop the Beto for Barry sub (and vice versa) after 70 minutes that hasn’t worked once.

Same stilk feel would come to the summer and we would be looking to bring in two cf with beto leaving. Just cant really see us getting first choice striker in jan for the long term, that we would all be happy with really need qulaity

I still want a right back and we should use both our loan spots , but at the same time people should be realistic. Unless you have man city money targeting players on competitive teams vying for something are unlikely to sell unless they're experiencing financial issues. Then you can look at castoffs from bigger squads and we know how people feel about that option
