Course we did. We have a definite strongest XI, and then we have a sub in almost every position. Remember this was the squad at the start of the window:

Yes but half the players we brought in are nowhere near good enough or “ready” to be viable options, so I don’t consider that proper depth myself. I don’t think replacing Ndiaye in the team with Dwight McNeil constitutes depth either.
 
If we’d signed proper full backs I’d be looking at giving it a 7/10.

Quantifiable for me:

7/10 for me.

Started the window with the left, finished on the right - assuming Rohl happens. Overall addressed a lot of areas but lack of right-back, defensive mid and probably a 3rd striker of a different profile dampens it for me. Also unsure why we just skipped 2 loan slots.
