You are right unfortunately, but because NDaiye and Grealish play whenever they are even 75% fit we will play them to destruction, having a quality rotation player would be beneficial, also if either is out the drop off is massive.

Thats Dibling (barely used even when those 2 were clearly shattered in some games) and of course his favoured experienced player, McNeil.

If we sold McNeil and signed Johnson or another player 24+ for £35mil to be 3rd or 4th choice out wide then it would have to be someone with massive upside potential.

A player who can create goals for themself and generate assists in this team.

The reality is that for the third time Johnson is NEVER starting for Everton this season under Moyes.

If Ndiaye or Grealish are out then he'll get a chance unless Moyes goes for another player. Then hes back on the bench.

David Moyes since returning has not played players on merit.

For colour, i said 12months ago that I wanted as my ideal 2 signings:

Dibling + Rigg.

Then was also delighted when Thelwell was apparently after Truffert & Wesley (2 players id mentioned in the past).

In addition to them i also wanted Kayode.

Please tell me which of those players I was wrong about?

All I posted was palace have agreed a deal with spurs over Johnson, everything else came up through different posters..

We can agree to disagree about wether he would improve our squad.

I know you wont back down, even though you want rid of half our players, so it is a stupid debate.

18 goals v 2 starts for the same money!

Spurs score a lot more goals than us and basically have played all out attack. They also have players injured in his position and he’s still not a regular.
Johnson wasn’t available in the summer. Had he been maybe Moyes would have pushed for him.

In the summer we will need another winger, maybe 2. Transfers can be all about timing
