Keane is in a hot spell and will lose confidence again at some point. I worry about Tarks and I wouldn't be surprised to see him being a bench warmer at best next season. I think that money generated would need to extend to buying a new centre half as well.

Isnt it the plan to have JB and OBrien as the ideal couple for the next season? Tarks would be a decent backup for them. Keane does very good this season, lets see how that evolves. Next summer will be all about getting RB/LB sorted, a replacement for Gana Gueye and fix the strikerstatus if Barry and/or Beto still fall short. I think that's basically our entire budget. If JB goes, its a different story ofc.
And lets hope Armstrong develops nicely!

I don't think we can fix a whole squad in one window so loan slots need maxing out for once and I think some positions can be covered around the squad like JOB at right-back, Alcaraz in midifeld, McNeil CAM and wings etc. From the youth team I'm promoting Armstrong but aside from that I can't see anyone else unless in pre-season the likes of Benjamin, Thomas or JBC are given a test.
We need top quality first choice:
