January Transfer Window 2026

January window will be a good indication of how our season will be shaped.

We lose Gueye and Ndiaye for a 6 Premier League should they make the final who are key to how we play.

Dibling - I am not overly happy with how we have managed but I witnessed Moyes mold Baines/Jags/Lescott etc into first team players.

I think his price tag is holding him back and I know he will take his chance because v Palace he didn't have much to do but he wasn't fazed.

Rohl - It is gutting on his latest injury because he has shown flashes but out until the New Year so he miss the same games as Gueye and Ndiaye.

Huge question marks on whether we should sign him permanent given small cameos and previous injuries.

So we have gaps that need addressing prior to Dibling and Rohl signings which haven't been sorted plus jury is still out on Barry.

If we can secure key positions in Right Back and Central Midfield, we could really look to gaining positions closer to European spots than relegation.

Outs could see Patterson who was close to a move in September, McNeil who surely has no spot in Moyes' plans and possibly Beto who wants to be the main striker.

Patterson and McNeil wouldn't be too big if a loss given the lack of game time but Beto and the striker situation still isn't sorted or convincing enough to stick with only Barry as an option so we would have to add in this category.

I am hopeful Moyes and the board are ready to act swiftly but as one famous crook/chairman said "But it's Everton"
We're obligated to purchase Rohl it's intertwined with the loan agreement, I believe the only condition that would invalidate the loan is if we are relegated

Desperately needs fullbacks and Moyes knows it. Here’s hoping we can secure at least one in Jan and another during summer. Then focus on a striker and a strong ball winning midfielder who can also ball play.

I know mate, they easily could of got it wrong tho
It's not just the spend though. Eddie Howe is a top class coach who seems to have improved virtually every single player at Newcastle. That's a special talent beyond simply moulding a team. Not a whole lot of head coaches out there like that.
No, but it definitely helps and we have only been able to spend for one window. Some perspective and patience is needed.
