A sure thing in the PL is hard to come by, Even the lovable Reds signed a sure thing for over 100 Million and he hasnt scored for them yet. Taking a 25 million punt on parrott would be worth doing.

I agree mate, its not easy, but we should try for as close to an established goal scorer we can in my opinion.

Separately, i think we waste so munch money, trying to be clever, investing in youth on the striker position that trying to find a bargain become a false economy, how many strikers have we bought, come and failed since Lukaku.

We need to be in a different era now, if you want a goal scorer go out and pay the money for one - some positions i feel you have to go out drop the money on and walk away, a centre forward in one.

No reflection on Troy - but we dont need another project up front at the club right now, if we were in different circumstances maybe.

Looks a real talent. Comes from a very chequered background too with his father doing a long stretch in jail.
So he must be mentally tough to keep going through all that .
