We turned down the option to get Haaland for 60k when he was 15Goals mate that’s what we need not another striker who can do everything but score

I see exactly what point you’re making and agree with you mostly, as I usually do, however I must say I wouldn’t have Gordon back. Along with everything else, I don’t think he’d improve us enough to offset the inevitable aggro, if at all.I keep seeing people say Evertonians always pine for players that have recently left us but I think it's complete bollocks
Off the top of my head from the past few years:
Godfrey
Onana
Dobbin
Iwobi
Gray
Maupay
Gomes.
DCL
Richy
Doucoure
Holgate
Gordonbegrudgingly but he's a rat
So no, I don't think we hanker after players that leave us. Because mostly they're garbo
We did but wasn’t he about two foot tall and skinnier than Rizzo the Rat at the time?We turned down the option to get Haaland for 60k when he was 15
How the hell would Zirkzee be beneficialI agree of course but the post underneath yours explains why this window is probably not the time to find that player, unless we can pull a hidden gem out of nowhere. V
We need a right back, a 6 and arguably a left back as well as a striker. With all that to do in a January window where prices will inevitably go higher than usual, I'm not sure its the right time to go big on a striker personally.
Someone like Zirkzee on loan with a right back and a 6 coming in on perms would be more beneficial to our season than dropping all that money on a starting striker in January, imo.
As I said though I know I'm probably in the minority in thinking this.

If people want a good test case for what's really changed at Everton, we could do worse than judge the new owners on one thing:
The term "Bring a Blue Home" is consigned to the dustbin of history along with Uncle Cyril's handlebars.
I heard that he has to pay Gerrard’s tax bill if he leaves Saudi for more than 36 consecutive hours at any time in the next 3 years. If I was a betting man…..
The maddest shout probably ever is mangala, I’ve seen a few times, our fans saying go for himIf people want a good test case for what's really changed at Everton, we could do worse than judge the new owners on one thing:

This.
A million times this.
I am genuinely sick of the mentality that loads of us seem to have about players who've been decent for us and then left - you never stop seeing shouts for them to come back. Sensible clubs don't do this - you sell a player and you move on.
I wouldn't mind, but it's not even just the fans who seem to have this...
Which is he, Left or Right ?
What about James? Don't think he gets a cross or a tick, he gets aI keep seeing people say Evertonians always pine for players that have recently left us but I think it's complete bollocks
