Agree with you. Even though they were both bought for the future and both needed time to develop. By having them and potentially selling them for massive profits if need be, allows us to buy more promising players and ready made now players to without worrying about FFP and keeping the team competitive in the league.….for those regularly posting that we need big bucks to sign quality footballers, two of our most prized assets (DCL & Branthwaite) cost circa £1m each.
Nobody is saying it’s easy to unearth diamonds but that’s why a DOF is paid so much.

Also less of a rial if we bring in two one ready to play in and out of the team like an onana to take chance on and another younger who we can build on….for those regularly posting that we need big bucks to sign quality footballers, two of our most prized assets (DCL & Branthwaite) cost circa £1m each.

who?Highly rated this boy and would instantly be our 3rd best midfielder. Gets to play with Onana which gives him more exposure for Belgium and build a partnership perhaps.
Very reasonable fee if true at £13mil as well. Definitely hoping Gomes and Gana are sold to Saudi in Jan and we can bring in one or two young midfielders.
We'll even throw in Keane for free as well my son.Could be worth telling Milan or Juve they can have Godfrey
