We need to look at the defence and go with

Patterson -- Tarks -- Branthwaite -- Myko

That means, Coleman, Young, Keane, Godfrey, Holgate need to be moved on and 4 new defenders eased in.

All should be u21s to develop.

The same goes for central midfield with Onana + Garner staying and Gana/Gomes being moved on.

We need 7 players out and 6 brought in. Thats even before we look at the 4 attacking positions.

Theres a lot which needs to be done over the next 20months. Hopefully we see a bit of action in Jan...then summer.

We can't only have U21s backing up the first 11, you need to have 3 reasonably experienced CBs in the squad as a minimum.

Sadly they'll struggle to sell the players you mentioned, especially after Holgate's nightmare loan and the poor form of Godfrey and Keane. Holgate will leave on a free next summer, hard to see Keane and Godfrey leaving before the following summer when their contracts expire. Maybe we could get Godfrey a loan next season.

Such a shame what's happened to Godfrey, he seemed like a great buy.

Think keane will stay as squad player on lower deal. Holgate and godfrey will go imo. So would like see us bring in 2 one ready to come and push into the first team and another younger we can build on

Again will have be creative look at the free agents, using up loan spots. I dont really kno about how much we could have but would it be better after the takeover as the stadium does not count to the ffp

If we graduall sell them then we really only need 2 CBs signed as backup to Branthwaite and Tarkowski. An u21 and an u19 will do.

If we could sign a young RB and sell one of Godfrey/Keane thsn Coleman may be good cover at CB....
