January Transfer Window 2018

As has been covered elsewhere in excellent detail by @toffeeblue9 , Net spend is a crude measure that doesn't begin to tell others full story of what a club spends on transfers.
But...even if it was a good measure.....

http://www.skysports.com/football/n...league-transfers-how-much-did-your-club-spend

We spent the 4th most of any clubs in the premier league in the summer window.
Our net spend was the 6th highest, totalling almost £50m. This follows on from the January window, where our net spend was £21.7m.

Summer 2016 we made a profit of about a million.
So, over the last 3 windows, we've reinvested the sales of over £150m of players plus another £60m+ on top.

But please...PLEASE do not let the facts get in the way of a good old moan.
Haha was typed while smiling so not moaning just been realistic. Totally behind manager & owner and if the club needs to be run well business wise so be it.

All had suspicions (some more than others) but when you come down to last day and no striker and waiting for Barkley bid to come in before we make a panic bid for around the same amount for last resort striker. Throw all the facts you want but to a simple man like myself this is very black and white now. And no not having a moan just saying it as I see it as others also do.

as you were lad
