Mate, they had us playing Bromley behind closed doors yesterday...tit of a paper

Totally agreed, they have a transfer accuracy of about 0.0001% but I'm thankful they've thrown another name into the mix to take our minds of this Cavani talk! With Costa going there in January I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility mind you.

Its a fair point, but the thing with both of them is their willingness to run at players, now granted their pace and movement might be affected, but I cant see either of them changing the way they play, head down driving at people, it doesnt always work, but it goes a long way in this league.

May not be that simple for Coleman. He may take a bit of time to get over how he was injured not just the physical effect. It took Ramsey quite a bit of time to get over it although I suspect that Coleman is a bit more resilient.

16 goals and 7 assists last year in La Liga. Sounds like his asking price would be under 30 mil and with Coasta coming in it would make total sense to me

You're right in that we're not a tall team, but it's either that or a big slow target man like Giroud. I'm happy either way as long as we sign someone who can put the ball in the net, which both of them can.
I'd love nothing more than us to add some pace and get in behind teams. It just seems that every striker we were linked with in the summer was a big ol' brute.
So I'd personally be surprised if we were in for gameiro. As much as I'd like him.

Gameiro would be a nice addition I agree but he is 5'8... I still feel we need a taller forward and he is the same height as the rest of our forwards. We need someone tall so guys like Siggy, Baines, Kenny and Coleman have someone to aim for with their crosses and set pieces. Cavani is a pipe dream but who knows what will happen if we throw enough money at him.
