Dagba links are interesting, would be a great steal.

Don’t really think we need more than a CB this winter though. All will be fixed with a change in formation and personnel. Gylfi needs to sit, Richarlison needs to be on the left or playing in a 2 striker system, Kean needs balls not to be just lobbed at him in the box, Bernard and Iwobi need more consistent playing time together, and Gbamin/Gomes need to come back from injury.

Id still love giroud here a cb and another cm as an alternative to gomes in the middle who can help us create more, all depends on if we can get rid of morgan niasse ect

We have the players to win games easy.

To some extent we have a defence to not leak goals , injuries permitting.

Midfield has a bit of class about it with experience and winners mentality.

Just need to actually play to their strengths and not shoe horn them into a formation and never change it.

Can i have some of what you've had?

So Brazil internationals attackers don't count as good enough to score some goals? Or a lad with the pontential as Kean does?

The defence that actually since Feb until now (swap zouma and mina after mina is playing well) has done a decent job not leaking goals.

The midfield with gomes gbamin, Delph are decent players

The issue is how they are told to play, not the quality we have (or don't)

We don’t have good players or at least not many , that’s why we are cack and our manager makes it worse

As someone else detailed earlier in this (or another thread).

A lot of our players are good enough to hit midtable at least, many of them may not make the top 6 or not as first choice but perhaps bench.

That is fair enough, we haven't got a champions League squad by any means and no time to be unrealistic .

But the fact is, the players we have should be performing better. The players we have are far superior to burnely bournemouth shef united and villa. So that is down to the manager as to why they aren't performing better.

We are a mid table team still, no question , however we are far better than 18th in the league. These players should we winning those games mentioned, anything less is down to Silva. The only loss out of them that can be chalked off is villa, away at villa park on a Friday night? That can be just one of those games. The rest not so much.

There is no point in being overly negative about everything , we have the players to be where we should be. By my count we should really be sat on 14 points at this point on the season. 4 wins (burnely sheff, wat , wolves) , 2 losses (villa, city) and two draws (palace bournemouth)

That's realistic.

I hope the only deal we do in Jan is a loan for a defender and nothing else, We got stuck with Tosun and Walcott thanks to January deals, It's an awful time to try and improve the squad unless we get some outs like Tosun.

Whereas all of our summer signings have been a massive success because it's so much easier, cheaper, and risk free to sign players during the summer.

If we neglect the winter transfer window once again, then our net spend over a 12 month period will be about 25 million pound, and we will all see exactly where it takes us.
