That would be it for me. Not arsed if its cover, not arsed he played for the RS but a 34 year bang average defender when there are thousands of other options available including U23S as cover.

Great talent, very well rounded, however I thought the same about Renato Sanches and he’s only just starting to settle down now.

I reckon he’s more likely to turn into Fornals at West Ham than Lanzini at West Ham.

It sounds like a smart buy to fix a short term problem. Insurance against a Mina or holgate injury. Kopites consulted say he did a decent job for them, think he played at cb and Fb so covers two positions. Knows the area, knows the league, won't cost a fortune, won't need 4 yr deal.

i wouldn’t have anyone from their C team past or present. Which is still better than the team big teeth put out last night (mega flipping sigh)

One good thing is that I don't think that yesterday's debacle will influence the opinion of any incoming players. Being knocked out of the cup is meh. Having an opportunity to get into the first team with a decent chance of going up the table under a well respected manager will still be attractive on top of the (no doubt obscene) money offered.
