I’m not bothered about panic buying a striker.

If we can get whoever we really want then great but don’t accept 2nd best. If Carlo favours a front 2 then I think any 2 from Richarlison, DCL and possibly Keane would be a bit of a handful in this league until the summer.

Centre half and a centre midfield are an absolute necessity though.

2 top drawer players there in January and I’d be one very happy man.

Zlatan makes a lot of sense in this regard. He will help all 3 of our young strikers. We will be able to rest him as well which he may need, and in 18 months the hope will surely have to be Kean is further long his development.

I would also say that with the supposed upheaval between players and the owner at Napoli January would be a great time for Carlo to nab 1 or 2 disgruntled players.
