Should try grab Kalvin Phillips (Leeds), Ben White (Brighton/Leeds) and Jarrod Bowen (Hull) in the Summer if they don't get promoted. Need to start trusting some Championship players.

Kalvin Phillips is destined for bigger and better things than Everton unfortunately. He'll be anchoring the midfield for one of the top 6 next season.

That said, if we could jump the gun and get him in January (which we won't as it's completely against our transfer policy) then hell yes.

Sell Dominic (no goals in 23 games) Solanke to Bournemouth for 19 million (also flogged them Jordan Ibe for 15 million), and look to sign a top player for nearly a third of that fee.

Precisely the type of business this club needs to be doing...not forking out 45 million for an aging player we know is not good enough for the clubs above us, likewise 20 million on Walcott, 34 million on Iwobi.

I know. It's just that there IS value in January, we're just too crap to do anything about it. Lots of players with 6 months left on contract. Last time we did that was Martinez's first year.
