The Sanchez deal says hi.

Theres ALWAYS somebody that will pay more.

Utd and City can only play 11 players every week mate im not suggesting we sign world class players like Messi but theirs players out there who are top 4 quality that would come to us if we offered the money and "sold" the project-

If we offered Lucas Moura 200k a week with incentives to slimeball agent
Spurs offer him 100k and stick to their wage structure

He'll more than likely end up in a Blue shirt like he turned Utd under Fergie down for PSG when they only first came into money.

Our current transfer strategy isnt working- we are spending big money on over priced players who do little to improve us.

We blew everybody out the water to sign Sandro.

Now we have an utter crapper on 100k+ a week who we cant punt cos nobody will pay 100k a week for a flop.
Yea I think there was a chance with Barkley, Stones and Lukaku to go big but now we just don't have the players to attract top players.

We are better of with a policy of signing promising youngsters. We just need to be better at it. We will also need a better manager that will be able to attract them so as to further their career. We need our Poch or Klopp.

But even on 100k at Spurs, with CL football, Moura would earn more each week with sponsorship.

Dude the only project is to build a stadium.

No top player is going to come to a club looking to cut costs for the next 5 years.

Buying young players is a major gamble.

Everybody does it, its a lottery, no amount of scouting can account for "a Garbutt, a George Green", some players excel in their own age group, some players excel in certain leagues, we spent 6m on the boy Gibson, a player regarded as 1 of the best prospects in the country, I watch with interest if he ever becomes a player.

I heard recently that we’ve got the 8th highest wage bill in the world. It’s not about spending more, it’s about spending smarter.

But that wage bill means we are aiming for 7th/8th at best which means we are spending top 4 transfer fee's every window on top 7/8 quality players.

Look at what fee's the top teams are paying and it aint far off what we are paying yet we are signing cast offs and players from jarg leagues who aint good enough- Sandro, Davy K.

If we dont up our wages we can spend all we want but we are simply overpaying to finish 7th/8th at best - now thats a flawed transfer policy.
