Gets a brief mention in an article in today's Daily Mail about another Legia player Krystian Bielik.

"Arsenal's Premier League rivals Everton have also watched Bielik but are focusing their attention on his older teammate midfielder Ondrej Duda.

The 20-year-old Slovakia international has been watched by Roberto Martinez's trusted chief scout Kevin Reeves and has scored five goals this season."

I'd love us to try and do a bit more of what West Ham, Swansea and Southampton have done which is take gambles on good players from poorer standards of league. When Martinez was at Wigan he did a lot of that and I think he could really take advantage of a few lower ranked leagues where players would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League. I'm thinking moves similar to Sakho, Montero, Valencia, Tadic, Mane this season for example. Also like the Besic deal, take a gamble on some good young talent from those leagues who clearly has the potential to do it in England. Someone like Kampl or Embolo.

Question is how long they'll do it for. They could all be considered bang average by May.

If your Embolo and Sammy Eto'o is watching, then surely you must listen to the man many would consider one of the greatest African players of all time ? I know if i was professional and Zidane told me to move somewere then i wouldnt hesitate, unless it was the dark side.

Agree what people have said there are some great players who we could sign on pre contracts or maybe sign on the cheap like mcgeady. Delph, ayew, konoplyenka, Reid which would improve are squad, i would love us to go for cabaye with rumours saying he could be available for loan from psg

Also on Arsenal’s shopping list is West Ham’s Winston Reid. He doesn’t want to sign a new contract at Upton Park and is apparently willing to leave a title-chasing club for one embroiled in a mid-table scrap. Everton andLiverpool are also sniffing around and West Ham, who aren’t hopeful of keeping Reid, are planning to replace the defender by signing Marseille’sNicolas N’Koulou.

Hammers defender Reid, a key figure in their remarkable start to the campaign, wants £60,000 a week and a £1million signing-on fee.

They are the figures being quoted to interested clubs and they are likely to price West Ham out of keeping the 26-year-old, who is out of contract next summer.
