We worry when we compete for a player with other teams that we won't be able to afford him or he'll prefer to live in London/Spain. And if there is no obvious interest from other teams we worry why not!

I honestly can't believe how some of our fans believe signing players is simple, and cause someone's running out of contract it's a cheap deal for us. They need to get into the real world very quickly or the all set to be permenantly dissapointed.

Players no there value as do agents. If the Ukrainian was worth 10 million a year ago he fully knows that.

Running his contract down means he sees the money not the selling club, that is all. It will still cost us an absolute fortune to sign him do it must be right.
