For some reason I remember really wanting him, then he went to Birmingham and stank the place out.

He'd had a long time out with a bad knee injury from what I remember, which is why Chelsea let him go. He would never have been in our price range otherwise. Luckily the Brummies took the gamble which didn't pay off.

Ali is a transfer that would make perfect sense in my opinion. He is of similar style to Osman & Pienaar, small, tricky & and loves a through ball. Could loan him back till the summer and send them Galloway on loan too as a sweetener.
Plus we could then be called MK Everloangan
