He's slowly getting more and more. Made 20 appearances (11 starts), for a total of 967 minutes, in all competitions. Only played the full 90 three times so far.

By comparison, McGeady has made 21 appearances for us (15 starts), racking up 1,334 minutes. Also only played the full 90 three times, but has been taken off with less than ten minutes to go on 3 occasions too.

Respective production? McGeady: 1 goal, 5 assists, three yellows..... Deulofeu: 3 goals, 9 assists, one yellow.

I'd say Deulofeu still has a little way to go, but if we don't get him this year we're probably never going to get him at all.

I think you're right re Gerry. I'd love to see him back, but we need a winger in NOW. And it needs to be a starting standard RW, in order to allow Mirallas to move over to the left. I suspect Kev is happier on that side - he's certainly more dangerous there - and we need to make him happy if we want him to extend his contract. And we want him to extend his contract, because if we lose him for a low fee we won't have the cash to buy his replacement.
