I don't believe it for a second, but if the Mirror article is right and he can be had for £1.5m on loan and then £12m perm fee, I'd be happy if that was our only Jan + summer business. He's easily worth double that.

Tbh he's good enough to demand that, he's CL quality. I doubt he'd join either us or the rs, doesn't mean we shouldn't try. I'd rather spend our budget on one class player than a few depth signings. We've had a horror run of injuries and then squad has managed to cope decently.
