No one is offering more than 25m, right now all those huge figures are paper talk. Maybe if FFP didn't exist but it does.
 
Barkley is a better footballer than Rooney. Well in terms of potential anyway. His problem is that he will develop over time rather than be scoring goals at a young age. He has a much better footballing brain than most players and will be a top player if developed properly over time.

Selling him would kill any sort of progress we hope to make as a club and personally should be the final straw in the boards coffin if they were to sell him. Anybody else can be justifiably sold, not Ross.
 
I definitely am quite worried about our GK position but i wouldn't mind waiting till the end of the season.

Joel for the first time has had more than 2 games in a row, and he made some decent saves against citeh, hes very young for a GK, hes got many years to grow into the roll, maybe theres some potential
 
If we fail to sign 2/3 players this window ( we all know what we need ) we are taking a grave risk for the rest of the season.

The summer will see a significant turnover of players ( probably 5 or 6 out including a couple of star names and same in) and history shows that it is almost impossible to integrate such a large number of players in one go.

Far better to get 3 in now and another 3 in the summer.

This has been said literally every January since the dawn of man.
 
It was reported on Sunday that betting had been suspended on Marshall joining us from Cardiff, so I am presuming this has been agreed, but we are allowing them to sign another Keeper, before they release him?

Also the Kaboul story keeps getting recycled, I think this is just him/ his agent, looking to get a move. The story linked below from a Tottenham website discusses some Tottenham "fan fiction" which would see Kaboul and Lennon or Capoue heading to Everton and James McCarthy, heading to Spurs. I cannot see that happening, but I can understand that Spurs probably do want to move one or two players on in the transfer window.
