Martinez would rather play with players out of position than change formation. He played with a £28mil striker on rw, his best AM outside and a poacher as his number 10.
He also played that same striker on the rw against arsenal this season and last which worked really well if I'm not mistaken. Who was up front if rom was on the wing and eto'o played as the number 10?

One game where it worked really well. You know what, I'll even admit this season wasn't bad against arsenal. But he's not a RW. You don't spend SERIOUS money in a player than play him it of position. How was he in all the other matches he played out wide?

How many other games has he been played out wide? Most of the time he has played up top with eto'o behind when both have played together

I agree it's not his best position but we have had a shortage of wingers due to injuries would you rather Osman play rw?

As Lukaku never wins a header off the centre-half or can withstand any physical pressure, there is a chance he might fare better against the titchy bloke on the wing.

Fwiw Whoscored only has him playing RW on one of his 12 starts - against Liverpool.

Seems more to me but cannot name another game he started wide at the moment

He started as a RW against Arsenal and Liverpool.

He was started against Man Utd as a triker but finished the game as a LW.

Other than those, it's always been as a striker.

Everton are watching Rochdale's versatile defender Rhys Bennett. The 23-year-old started his career with Bolton before moving to Falkirk on loan and was then snapped up by Rochdale where he has impressed with his performances.

Bennett can play right back or centre back and Everton scouts have taken a keen interest in recent weeks as they look to strengthen their squad following injury to John Stones and veteran Sylvain Distin turning 37 next month.

Let's break the bank and buy Deulofeu...we could be the most exciting team in Europe within 3 years
I feel as though someone like him or Depay is what we need to push this young squad into the next level, currently we push around the Champions League and European Places, but keeping this young squad together and adding a quality youngster on the wing could take us to consistently in CL places pushing for the League.

Agree 100% mate. We are, as usual, on the same page

it's really rather spooky
The question then, is who is whose multi? Or are we all really multiple facets of Chico's personality? These are the existential questions on this here forum that need asking. Perhaps a quick catechising of both me and @deipnosophist by the moderation team as well as a quick IP address check will suffice.
