Sorry mate it was a diabolical lazy penalty - considering the trouble West Ham are in he deserves a lynching from his manager and fans. But you have to keep the out and he did, hes noyt a bad shot stopper is Tim but i would hope that save wouldnt make his top 50.

This is a good bit of business by Everton. For years we have been haunted by awful back up keepers to great ones. We have never had an average to good one that will actually push a keeper to do there best. Howard has had it easy at Everton. His main competition was Wigans 3rd choice keeper and the German keeper who looked like James Blunt. Not good enough if we want to see him fight for his place.

Saved a penalty today and was solid as usual, conceding a similar goal to Yakubu scored on saturday, following Big Vic flick on. Legia won 2-1.

He should be in Liverpool right now, taking care of some organization tuff (apartment, preschool for kids, etc...), he will also attend Everton practices. Then he will come back to Warsaw, along with Chris Woods, for big Legia-Wisla match - Mucha to play there, and Woods to watch him playing.

Mucha was also a guest of weekly Polish League TV Magazine on Sunday, I will try to catch a replay and makes some notes of his opinions regarding moving to Everton, for sure it was one of the hottest topics out there..

Someone's told me that he's been learning English for about the last six weeks out in Poland

apparently his nickname over there is "Janno" too.

Yes, it is.
And I though his english was good enough, but good to know that he want make sure he thinks is good enough too.
Ehhhh, too bad he isn't a Pole, it would be so much fun for me. Damm Slovakians!!! :)

It often looks that Poland only produces Goalkeepers these days. God knows how many there are playing in the English and Scottish leagues.

As promised some qoutes from Mucha from Polish League TV Magazine:

- I have still things to learn, getting better at crosses or play higher on the pitch. I am working tirelessly on this aspects, and hopefully I will get better with my experience. I have a phenomenal goalkeeper coach here, so I am already much better as a goalkeeper than I was before.
- I had a few offers. I decided to go for England, because it's my favourited country and league to play. Had an offer also from Sunderland and one more club (didn't hear which one), but I liked what I saw at Everton, they looked like a family when I was there. I didn't look who was their current keeper, I have a confidence in my skills, so it wasn't the important aspect.
- Nobody is guaranteeing you to play, it's one of the better clubs in England, they have a coach who is working there for a few years, so I am going to place with much needed stability.

It's basically all. It was the first time I had a chance to watch him for longer period of time talking to journalists, I believe we are getting an intelligent and humble player, with good set of skills. Hopefully he will do well.

Last big game for Mucha today in Warsaw - Legia will host defending champions Wisla Cracow. Legia doesn't have a chance to win a title anymore, but Wisla has and they need win badly. Problem is, Mucha stopped them in the past, can he do it again?
Game starts at 3 pm. BST, there should be streams available via sopcast or other streaming softwares.

In 30 minutes (at 2 pm CET) Slovakia will play Cameroon in friendly game. Not sure if he will play there, but it's worth a look. Streams are available.

Edit: Mucha started on the bench and wasn't used today.
