Not only in his eyes. We reached the cup final, that was our target. Why should it matter to any Evertonian what way we did it?

So it wasnt a pity he didnt slot home the winner then? Would have thought that would have done wonders for the kid, apparently no-one cares though

Look on the bright side, for the run in, Vaughan will be able to play a part, we have Jo and Saha available as well so as far as strikers are concerned we are a bit better off than we were a while ago.

As for the final well it all helps, James and Louis to call on.

James Vaughan is a fitty...just wat the blue boys need :) black eye and all heehee

A fully fit Vaughan is a huge boost for Everton, he is different from our other strikers, he has electric pace, not afraid to throw his weight around (why he has had so many injuries) and is willing to bide his time to get a chance in the first team.

I would take Vaughan over Anichebe anyday, he does have the potential to be a great striker if he can just keep himself fit, he doesnt know when to give up and runs defenders ragged, if Agbonlahor can play for England then Vaughan definately can

All he needs to do is be a little less enthusiastic on the pitch, he runs into a challenge at 90 miles an hour when he doesnt need to, but can he really be blamed for going into a challenge the way he does.

The brazillian Ronaldo has had Cruciate Ligament Damage in both knees but has scored 5 in 10 games this season for Corinthians, there is an example of how you can come back from serious injuries (even though Ronaldo is in a league of his own in marks of quality)

I suggest you watch Ronaldo mate, hes ******* awful and the Brazilian league is not the best, trust me. I reckon I could score 5 in 10 in that league.

But Vaughan is ace, I agree.

Not only is Brazilian football poor, the whole infrastructure their is not great either. Why so many Brazilians ply their trade in Europe tells its own story.

It seems Moyes has lost faith in him though. An out of form Jó and a never fit Saha who has looked dire in the last couple of games and he still cant get a game doesnt bode well

Have to disagree completely here. If there's anything you don't want to take away from his game it's his work rate and enthusiasm, especially on a striker. Look where it's gotten Cahill who, incidentally, has been injury-prone at times and come back from them.

James just needs to learn what Tim has...timing.
