Think he needs to admit when he's injured.

It's painfully obvious when he shouldn't be playing but he does anyway because he's "dead hard". I appreciate the commitment but it's actually doing more harm than good sometimes

I like him but thought he was off it today. He should have sorted that corner out at the end as captain, I thought he should have been stronger and took responsibility and marked Van Dijk.

….actually thought he was indecisive and sluggish today, a few times Branthwaite and O’Brien bailed him out. It’s not like him but he didn’t quite seem on it.

Yep there were quite a few times that the ball was clear his to win and he just stood watching and got us trouble. A worrying trend after last week's goal.

Didn't think he did much wrong apart from the goal but he wasn't much of a presence out there. My biggest worry with Tarkowski is how long it's going to take Moyes to take him out of the starting XI.

To be fair to Tarkowski they did a number on him there, Konate and Van Djik doubled up on him and he couldn't jump. Needed Jake O'Brien to wade in but he didn't get involved - he was actually pulling Pickford's shirt when the corner came in, which was a bit weird.

Watched it again, he had both Konate and VVD on his back. Difficult to jump when you have 400 lbs on your back.

O'Brien didn't get out of the crowd, Keane stayed in his zone. Really harsh to blame Tarkowski on that.

I didn't understand why we didn't double up on Van Dijk. We had 5 x six footers on the pitch. They had 2 centre halves, everyone else is 5 foot nothing.

Thought the same, was getting held down by Konate, it’s not like he didn’t try to jump.
