Overall Tarks is solid. He, Branthwate, and Pickford were instrumental in us staying up. He’s been off the mark on occasion but we’re better with him on the pitch than without as it currently stands. He had an off day. I see today’s errors tightened up for Wednesday.

Nah that's not true, he is a fairly decent passer usually.
He had a bad game, wasn't helped by us constantly messing around at the back with a team who presses high up the pitch, it was asking for trouble.

Tarkowski has more than enough credit to have a bad game. He has generally been quality since we signed him.
Has been a bit ropy at times this season though. Today was a bad game, they happen.

His worst game for us. An absolutely diabolical performance that and if I was Moyes I'd have hauled him off.
That said, I really think he's been an excellent signing overall and is a big reason why for the past 2 seasons we have had a top 4-6 level defence along with Pickford and Branthwaite.

Finding it very difficult to come down hard on Tarkowski, he really has been a rock this season which is backed up by our GA record.
Also as a defender when I played I'd have gone for that tackle and been upset a pen was awarded.
Only saw the replay when the game was live but it looked like he clearly got the ball to me, I stand to be corrected please.
As for his ball out that lead to the second, I can only think he froze, a terrible ball to try at any level, a complete no no.
That pen rocked him today and he never recovered.
Dropping him would be harsh when you consider the stinkers Doucoure has had this season and kept his place.
I would expect to see a very different James Tarkowski on Wednesday night.
