Switched off on that goal trying to pass the CF off to Patterson. Poor decision making that.

Coady complemented him in most games. He also provided a vocal spur to others and kept them on their toes. At least he'd have got stuck in these pathetic efforts. He'd have collected the towels the others have thrown in ....and thrown them back at them.

Wouldnt want to play at the back for Everton. There are defenders in this league that cost lots of money that make errors but those up the pitch take the heat off them by scoring and winning games.
Absolutely none of that at Everton.

Massively overrated if Keane played like him today he'd be getting slaughtered (rightly so). Even the 'bang average' or 'decent bottom half defender' shouts are generous imo. Looking forward to his post match interviews though where he talks about the lack of quality up front.

If we conceded that same goal today but Keane did what Tarkowski did the fume would've reached new levels never seen before. If I'm pinning the blame on any individual for the goal it's Young but even if you rate the guy you've got to admit it was very very poor from him as well. Gets away with a lot on the basis of being ever so slightly better than the rest in a truly abysmal set of defenders at the club.

Feel bad for the lad the weight of the team and defense shouldn’t be on his shoulders but it feels like it is. A clean sheet is needed for this team to ever get three points out of a match. He played every minute in the premier league last year. Without him we’d be much much worse. If you can even imagine that.
