Shame he got hacked down by McArthur on the edge of the box. I was sure he was going to pass it in to the corner of the net.

Thought he found it more difficult with the pace of the game today and was knackered at the end. Still had a huge impact on the game despite Palace's hard work.

That bit of play when we'd been under the cosh and he was on the touchline surrounded. He just refused to panic, waited, held off, waited, held off, then just played a delightful chip into Allan and got us on our way. It almost deflated Palace that as we seemed to have then come through the most important stage of the game still intact.

Only the very best do that type of thing. That won't always work btw but it's an incredible mindset to have and a huge belief in his own ability.

Absolute grade A quality.

That's whats so exciting about him. He can have difficult games, he really struggled in the second half, and yet there's still always the sense that if you get him the ball in the right area something will happen.

If in a bad game, he tears open the opposition defence half a dozen times, you can't really complain.
