It is easier for James to find pockets of space though when he starts out wide. If he starts centrally then the opposition can just go man to man on him. When he starts wide and drifts in then the full back can't go with him. Starting on the right also opens up the pitch for his passing.

Felt today and other games that our players just pass him the ball even when that pass isn't the correct one. Like school level pass to the best player in the team. He's good enough to salvage something from it most of the time of course.
