Pretty good game today. Really glad to see everyone here so ecstatic! RM was a nightmare, like it has been for so many galacticos! But not for lack of talent.

P.S. Wait till Ancelotti gives him #10 and he earns the captain armband. That's when you get James 2.0. Like when he plays for our NT. There was a James before and after the #10. Trust me. It's in the South American genes, to wear that number. Then you get Beast Mode!

He's not Mbappe, but he looks like he has decent acceleration and great touch to get away from his man.

When you have space like he has on the right, you don't need a Usain bolt.

I love that he's on the right now - before the game I thought he was a 10, but he's better on the right, sees everything and comes in, tons of options for a killer final ball. Not the same when he plays left, or in the middle.

I think James will get the armband a lot with Coleman not likely to be playing every game.

Have to admit, i didnt think he could be a captain on the pitch but hes definitely a 'technical' captain.

The 10 shirt probably comes next summer when Sigurdsson hopefully goes (ideally gone tomorrow).

One thing im sure of is that Colombians will enjoy watching him toy with other teams this season.
