Not sure why we need him at a conference to be honest, can't bare the toe curling questions, he might aswel just say listen fellas im here for Carlo and I haven't got a clue who the hell Everton even are.

There isn't many questions he has not answered.

This isn't about football, this is about promoting Everton FC. It seems strange o say but there are now probably tens of millions who have become aware of Everton simply because we signed this one player.
This provides enormous commercial opportunites for the club.

I wonder as well, if we will try to get some additional sponsorship deals going . Cazoo are limited to the domestic market but there must be huge opportunities opening up.

My hope is that Everton have now moved onto a different level as a club , if you remember City also raised their profiles initially by signing some top class football names. They also blundered through managers before they realised that to be the best, you have got to have the best.

....because I see thousands of young fans walking the streets with ‘Sigurdsson 10’ shirts. Those kids will be devastated and their parents angry if he was given a different number.
