Can't wait until Besic is fit again. Be good to see a central midfielder who knows where the oppositions box is and can actually run and pass towards it.

I'd think it would be a good idea to take either him or Barry off in situations like today. Either that or a CB.

Great for us in away games and when the opposition want to try and come forward even to some extent. But completely lacking technically and wrecked too much of our moves today. PS never ever shoot James!!

Not a home player not as effective when we play away he looks needed - at home he shows no shots or guile?

Big engine but besic is a much better player. Offers so much more. Matches McCarthy for energy and desire then 10x better on the ball. Barry is a must start at present so once besic is fit he has to start until James improves his all round game. Good player but not first choice.

The problem is, as with Tommy Grav all those years ago, both players, once booked are only a 3rd of the player they can be.

He had a poor game by his standards yesterday but calls for him to be dropped are stupid.

Look at the results and goals conceded since he came back (starting games). Says all you need to know.

Getting booked early on did negate what he can do fully though as he couldn't run the risk of another foul.

Stupid decision for the penalty like but he made a mistake and fortunately we got off the hook.

After his early booking yesterday and then his handball - which could and probably should have seen him walk. I was paranoid that Atkinson would be itching to send him off second half and thought Bobby should have maybe hooked him.

As it was, he made sure he didn't lunge into anything and didn't give Atkinson any excuse.
