Koeman and Mourinho in the same sentence on winners.
Just no.
The former is a genius; the latter hasn't won an egg cup for a decade.

Thought you'd got that wrong for a second until I read the quote. Roy Keanes words suggest it was a long term thing under Martinez too.
Give it a rest you bore.
You're the one suggesting that Koeman is wrong here. I'm asking you why is it only with Ireland? an issue we had with the previous manager also, yet never with other international managers or in fact the previous Ireland manager. You tell me.
I cant help others trolling me.Its tiresome man, I come on here to read news and literally every thread is the same handful of posters arguing with you taking a deliberate controversial stance. Enjoy reading your anti Kenwright and RS posts mate but you've become GOTs very own Adrian Durham and it's boring trawling through page after page of rubbish.
Koeman's lost the plot here. He needs to shut up and so does O'Neill, but its always Koeman that ramps it up. In a week where Coleman is lying flat on his back in a hospital bed it is the most disgraceful bit of Everton management I've ever witnessed. That lad's career is in the balance and all he can do is to keep a feud going with his international team mate and manager.
Just STFU and let it rest.
Is there anyone down there at that club with the balls to read him the riot act on this? Doesn't look like.
having just looked,he played 66 v man utd,60 v betis, and came on as sub for last 27 v espanyol in friendlies,so another x to the oneil rubbishWhat his statement doesn't say is that prior to this International break, McCarthy hadn't played any football for Everton since coming off early in the League cup game against Yeovil on August 23rd. He then plays 2 full games 3 days apart for Ireland, comes back injured and doesn't play for Everton again until Swansea on November 19th.
By contrast, the 3 games in 8 days he played for us were all pre season friendlies, in which he probably only played 45 minutes in each as part of his pre season fitness programme.
You couldn't make this up could you?

I dont know the answer to your question. I do know that I'm sick to the back 'kin teeth with Koeman and his grimly hostile attitude to one or two of his own players and other managers. You're the one suggesting that Koeman is wrong here. I'm asking you why is it only with Ireland? an issue we had with the previous manager also, yet never with other international managers or in fact the previous Ireland manager.
Agreed mate. I'm wearing the green hat too much. O'Neill actually started this in the first place. Koeman won't take his phone call allegedly. Its a farceI think Martinez had too much control over our medical/fitness team. IIRC they left en masse during his second season, probably because they disagreed with him. He used to bring players back too quickly inc Macca. We're now trying to do the right thing by the lad to sort out his problems once and for all. Which makes it all the more frustrating when this happens when he joins up with the national team.
I also think you're being a bit lenient on him. If he doesnt actually realise how irresponsible and disrespectful he's being, he needs to find out quickly.
That was a later game when he dropped him to the bench. He made the change against Sunderland at half time because he was having a stinker. To be fair he could also have dragged off Mirallas or Lukaku too as they were just as bad in that first half. Luckily for us he made the right choice.Going off topic here but he has said that he wanted to teach Barkley a lesson by leaving him out, so in essence it actually is personal. It proved to be the right motivation for Ross tbf.
And you have the evidence for this I suppose? The pre-prepared statement was approved by the head of communications and has his finger prints all over it. Koeman has the clubs blessing on the matter, just as Martinez did when he took on Keane's comments.
The fact is, everytime we send players to join up with Ireland, they're carrying knocks and the ROI medical staff are warned. Coleman has been given games off/rotated after 55/60 minutes but they won't go against McCarthy's willingness to play.
Good on him for wanting to play but he can't and shouldn't be playing.
Stop the madness Dave.
Ha Gibson - omnipresent prior to that I take it.Course it was. We lost Gibson to them too.
No doubt Everton are sick of the old fashioned Irish FA and Koeman is simply towing the party line and incensed at the pathetic nature of the selection process they continue to utilise.
