Played brilliantly today. Looked like how he was in his first season but even better in that he was a real goal threat.

I was happy with him to be sold but if he can show he can stay fit he can be an important player for us.

today made me think he might have got his fight back, that he had in the first season.

Hopefully he's now come around to koemans style of play, and being away from martinez might do him a favour.

It's a fair point. I can see us playing 3 lads in there though. I think Koeman fancies Ross further forward. If we play 3 the squad looks ok.

I think we have to get away from the idea we will have lads playing every game in there. We will rotate, with emphasis on intensity when they play, which suits me fine.

Showed today why the demanding RK seems to be having a change of heart. Energy, tackling and even showed offensive threat.
Oh and he didn't pull his ham string.

Was all over the pitch today and it was good management to take him off so he didn't risk picking up an injury as he tired.

Has 'upped' his game over last month or so. Fair play. Lots of competition for places in that midfield now. Looking much better.

That being said he was ace today and the sub was well timed imo.

Really looks to have transformed under Koemans' tough love.
