Theres something radically wrong when a player can have such polarised performances season on season. I dont think he was physically fit last season....he was blowing for tugs and red faced in a lot of games early on. Whether it was a throwback to his injury probs or the lack of emphasis on stamina at Finch Farm in spite of all the so called sports scientists etc on the payroll....God knows. Maybe Koeman can knock the whole set up into shape, see the wood for the trees, and get the best out of our under achievers by solving the issues and where necessary sourcing replacements given the transfer kitty being encouragingly flush.

First season when we played a high pressing game, he excelled. I think he deserves a chance to see what Koeman can bring from him along with new fitness coach. His game first season suited a higher tempo. He was very good in the last game of the season when he was given licence to be more box to box and I think we'll see more of that next season

Good engine, but not much else. Solid player for a lower Prem side. No way top 4 material.

Can't see him getting much game time under Koeman. Suspect he'll be moved on to boro or Hull..
