Agreed mate, absolutely immense today and just keeps on improving. Him and Barry seem to have found their 2nd wind the past few games and look in tip top shape.

this. the ball was just hoofed clear and the Sunderland defender was on his own in his half waiting to take the ball under control looking like he has all the time in the world. Next thing you see the freight train that is McCarthy gazelling forward out of nowhere to pressure him and make him go back to the keeper. Amazing.

I'd struggle to name many better defensive midfielders than him in the league to be honest.

Well hopefully Gibson will be back next season mate and maybe even another addition so your nightmares end of Osman getting game time, still useful to have though next season and he will still bang in a couple of crackers before the seasons out!!
