Give your head a wobble mate, he hasn't played competitively for more than 18 months. Even at 8.5m he is a massive risk to any club. I have no doubt he will be injured within the first few games for Palace. The lad is finished at the top level
 
Brilliant in his first season.
Sadly injuries, which were aggravated even more by his selection for international duty finished him here.

I hope he can find his way to regular game time elsewhere and stay healthy.
 
People make out the club did him a dirty but he jibbed us off time and time again to get scissor kicked by Martin O’Neill personally. Getting rid of him for any fee is good business and he’ll only be remembered by fans when his name comes up in pub quizzes in about 20 years time.

Yet another player grossly overrated by our fans because he could run around a lot and look busy.

I have no doubt Delph will be injured in our first few games, oh wait he achieved that in pre season. Hardly makes prudent financial sense to replace one sick note for another.

We needed to get rid, but why not wait until deadline day and squeeze another few million.?

Because we wanted rid as much as they wanted him. If not more!

Don't think we got a bad deal on any of those accept maybe Lookman.

Vlasic never did anything of note in the premier league or in a blue shirt, showed only some good form in a poor Russian league.

Lookman showed glimpses and if it wasn't for other turd players going for 20m+ I wouldn't blink an eye at his fee, but he was unhappy here for a while so that plays a part in our bargaining position.

Gueye was a fair fee turning 30 soon.

Henry still can't get a permit, so it's a no-brainer to shift and reinvest in players that can help us now.

And just be glad someone even wants McCarthy and pray he passes his medical before his legs fall off
 
If he had listened to our club's medical team instead of Ireland's, he could well have been playing still and as a captain.

He was that good in his first season but poor advice and bad luck with his leg break meant it wasn't to be.

Good Luck for the future after Saturday of course
