He will be the perfect fit in the Silva system

And by that I mean the 15mm in our bank account will be perfect toward signing someone who can actually play football

Want to see him go and have done for absolutely ages. I'm sorry about his leg injury because it was nasty to see sat right there in the Lower Gwladys and it's a massive shame it's kept him out as long as it has. However, it shouldn't erase the fact that even before it happened he was a non-entity in our squad for 2 seasons at least and put his country over the club numerous times and wasted a lot people's time and effort who were trying to get him back fit.

He needs a fresh start somewhere. This horse left the barn a long time ago.

why the hell would anyone want to sign a player coming back from a major leg/ankle break who has had zero game time..

I bet he plays less than 5 games in total minutes... not even that much
Baggies signed Jay Rodriguez and he's had some shockers.
He's doing ok for them.

When fit he was by far the best midfielder at the club so to suggest he can’t play is slightly churlish.. the lad has just been so cruelly hit by injury.

Obviously it’s an exaggeration and he can play football ffs he is getting paid tens of thousands a week to do so, and is one of the top 1000 footballers in the country probably

Not good enough for Everton though
