Don't think he's as bad with the ball as your making out, but he will never be a creative midfielder, he wasn't bought for that. Injured too much we need an upgrade because of that. Decent player when fit and that's the problem, never seems to be fit.

He may or may not. Chances are coming back from a broken leg he's going to pick up niggles whether that's with us or Ireland.

I'm probably his worse critic when it comes to him putting country before club. I've had numerous arguments with some of our friend from across the little pond. He is neither average or slow... he is capable of being a box to box midfielder but is largely used in a defensive role... hence the non scoring.
