James McCarthy

I went off McCarthy when he chose to be Irish. That put him under the care of lunatics like Keane and O'Neill. He could have been Scottish (regular place) or English (not a snowball in hell chance of being picked)

Cobber, I see your comparison and it makes somewhat sense, but don't think people are necessarily saying he would come in and improve the team, unlike people were saying with Bolasie and Mori.

The issue with Mccarthy as opposed to the other two examples, is that most people agree we actually need to get rid of him, and for his benefit as well.

The truth is and the general consensus is that when Mccarthy got a run of games, we played better football. As a defensive midfielder he tackles, is fair dinkum on the ball whereas he doesn't butcher the pill unlike Gueye and actually brings energy and shows interest unlike Schneiderlin.

That last paragraph is spot on, James as had plenty of injuries, he doesn't get injured on purpose, just been very unfortunate and rushed back too soon by Martinez, and played when he wasn't fit by Martin O'Neill for Eire, although
James should have put his hand up and told O'Neill he wasn't ready.

James is a coward of a footballer a bit like Schniederlin takes no responsibility what so ever, but the worst thing is he is not a good as him.

It's obvious you do not like McCarthy and you are entitled to your opinion, coward? I trust you were at the WBA game last season when he made that cowardly tackle breaking his leg saving a certain goal. Coward, no way Billy.
